New Exploration App for Scout Island/River Valley

Courtesy of the City of Williams Lake:

Williams Lake has launched super-secret missions from Agents of Discovery, an augmented reality, geo-triggered mobile game that gets families moving, learning, and exploring the world around them.
Sign up for the free Agents of Discovery app, which is available to use at Scout Island Nature Center and the River Valley main trailhead. Families can now enjoy this exciting way to engage with the surrounding area as they unlock hidden geo-triggered challenges (questions) that can only be solved through observation and discovery. Once the app is downloaded it does not require any data or Wi-Fi to run – no worries about your cell phone bill with this game!

Bundle up, grab a thermos of hot chocolate and get ready for adventure, intrigue, and a whole lot of fresh air! When you have completed either of your missions, head over to the Cariboo Memorial Recreation Center or Scout Island Nature House to show them that your mission has been completed to enter your name in a weekly draw for a family swim pass.

For more information call the Cariboo Memorial Recreation Complex at 250-398-7665
