BC Liberal Party Leadership Race down 1

Yesterday, BC Liberal Party Leader hopeful Lucy Sager withdrew from the race to become the next Leader of the BC Liberal Party, due to "personal setbacks" and wishing to focus on her family and threw her support behind BC Liberal Party Leadership Candidate Dianne Watts.  More here

With Ms. Sager's withdrawal - this leaves currently elected BC Liberal MLA's Todd Stone (Kamloops-South Thompson), Andrew Wilkinson (Vancouver-Quilechena), Mike de Jong (Abbotsford West), Michael Lee (Vancouver-Langara), Sam Sullivan (Vancouver-False Creek) and former Conservative MP Gurmant Grewal still in the race

At 10am today - the 2nd of 6 Leadership Debates will be taking place in Prince George. The event will be livecast on the BC Liberal Party's Facebook page which you can find here
Eligible BC Liberal Party voters will vote over a 3 day period starting Thursday, February 1st, 2018, by phone or a secure website, and concluding on Saturday, February 3rd, 2018 at 5pm and sometime that evening, the successful candidate to become the new BC Liberal Party Leader and next Leader of the Official Opposition will be announced
