Cariboo-Chilcotin Fire Update - July 15th am

Good morning - your air quality reading at 5am was 10 while it was projected to be 7 for today

Late yesterday evening - the Cariboo Regional District issued two evacuation alerts -- one for Tatla Lake (view here) and an evacuation alert expansion for Big Creek (view here)

Meanwhile - the City of Williams Lake's Evacuation Alert issued this past Monday evening remains in place.  Details here

The Evacuation Order for the District of 100 Mile House remains in place while there are no active Emergency Operation Centres' in Quesnel/Wells in relation to wildfires

Up-to-date information of the Wildfires of Note in the Cariboo Fire Centre can be viewed here

Most of us in the Region have been at this level of heightened activity(evac alert/order) for about a week now and as a CRD Electoral Area Director - I would ask that as you interact with staff at the CRD's Emergency Operations Centre, be very kind and gentle with them.  They are trying their very best to meet your needs while worried about their own personal circumstances during the wildfire situation and your assistance in this is greatly appreciated
