Day 1 of NCLGA 2016

Today is the official launch of the 2016 North Central Local Government Association's Convention/AGM in Dawson Creek

Registered delegations will take in one of two Tours from 8:30am - 4:30pm:

Energy Tour - Energy House, take in the Village of Pouce Coupe, Bear Mountain Wind Park and Site ‘C’ Clean Energy Project.

South Peace Circle Tour - explore Tumbler Ridge, including the Dinosaur Discovery Gallery as well as lunch and continue the circle
through to Chetwynd where you will see the world class chainsaw carvings and tour the pellet mill.

Then from 2-4pm - the Northern Medical Program Trust (NMPT) AGM will take place (Editor's Note - I regret that I won't be able to take in this event as I won't be back from the Energy Tour to observe the AGM as my colleague, John Massier, was recently nominated by the CCRHD for an additional term. I hope to see him back as NMPT Chair

Then from 5:30pm - 8pm - a Welcome Reception and Community Leadership Awards Presentation with an additional Wine/Cheese Event for NCLGA Delegates to occur at Chances Dawson Creek from 8pm to 10:30pm

Have a great day!
