Regarding the City of Williams Lake policing audit, don't be fooled by the smoke and mirrors that the City would have you believe according to their carefully constructed Agenda item; Council has no choice but to implement a "police board" or it will be done for them. This is as a result of a FEDERAL GOVERNMENT investigation which began in May 2014 that found, in part, that City Council had a relationship with the local RCMP detachment which the Feds found unacceptable. Stay tuned.
