Williams Lake - Council-in-Committee on Tuesday, Jan 5th at 6pm - Rick Hansen Boardroom (Basement - 450 Mart St).
The only item on the Agenda is a delegation -- Sharon Taylor and Margaret Anne Enders -Immigrant & Multicultural Services Society & Multiculturalism Program, CMHA re: Update Mayor and Council on the Williams Lake Refugee Sponsorship Group and its efforts to sponsor refugees to the area.
Following the meeting - Williams Lake Council will be holding a In-Camera meeting under the provisions of Section 90(1a - appointment) of the Community Charter

Thanks Steve for the transparency...NOW it is time for the entire W.L. City Council to post their monthly expenses. This is not the 1950s, it is 2016. The era of secrecy and lack of accountability is over. It is TAXPAYERS money. The 8 years of the Cook reign at city hall showed that Council took the City of Williams Lake from a fairly prosperous and decently managed city to a near BANKRUPT backwater. Mayor Cobb show some real leadership!!
