Bouchie Lk Rec Commission needs Volunteers!

Courtesy of Cariboo RD Area 'B' Director Heloise Dixon-Warren:

Hey Bouchie and Milburn Lakers?  BE A PART OF IT!

Are you interested in seeing more recreation opportunities available in the community?  Perhaps learning new skills and meeting new people?  Do you have a few hours to spare and would like to volunteer close to home?  Well…  Bouchie Lake Recreation needs YOU!

Bouchie Lake Recreation Commission, the volunteer group responsible for managing the Bouchie Lake Hall and Grounds, Claymine Trails, and Bouchie – Milburn Community Park is currently operating with 1 less commissioner than is required by the CRD bylaw.  In order to continue in a decision making role, the commission must be comprised of between 6 and 10 commissioners.  Currently, there are 5.

There is quite a bit of information on the commission and the facilities it manages on www.bouchielakerec.ca

If you reside in the Ten Mile Lake / Moose Heights area, there is a similar commission that manages the Parkland Community Centre and Kostas Cove.  The Parkland Recreation commission is also in need of volunteers.
