This year the Community and Station House celebrate Williams Lake's 85th Birthday with a Juried summer mixed media and memorabilia exhibition called “My Williams Lake” running from July 4th – Aug 30th. This exhibition currently has a call for submissions our with a deadline of May 24th, 2014.

The Cariboo Arts Society Group Show June 6th – June 28th entitled “Brushes with History – Our Cariboo Roots” celebrates the 70th anniversary of the Cariboo Art Society who have been inspired by their historic roots. This show will feature work from current Art Society members in the lower gallery as well as a call to former members of Cariboo Arts Society for their work to be show cased in the upper gallery.


The occasion is the70th Anniversary of being the oldest Art Society in Western Canada. The Cariboo Arts Society invites any former members to submit their work to us for this exhibit. For further info on this please contact Cat @ 250 296 3670 or Yvette at 250 989 4241.

Why is it that current council could not just attend this event and instead opted to throw themselves a private birthday bash instead?
