2014 Local Gov't Election Resources

With less than 8 months to General Voting Day on November 15th, 2014 - thinking about running for local office this November (Mayor, Councillor or Regional District Director - Rural Areas)?

There are resources out there for you to review if that is what you want to do.  Please note Candidate Guides are not yet available.  They are typically available in the fall of the year of a local government election

Or contact your local government office.  Most local governments have appointed their Chief and Deputy Chief Election Officers.  In any event, call your local government office and ask for the Corporate Officer (they are typically appointed as the Chief Election Officer) and I'm sure they will be glad to point you in the right direction for information in assisting you in making your decision to run for local office
