Local Government and Ethics

This past Friday - CBC Daybreak North interviewed UNBC Political Science Professor & District of Lake Country CAO Alberto de Feo on the subject of local government + the issue of ethics.

Mr. DeFeo discussed the topics of the current debacle involving Toronto City Council and its Mayor Rob Ford & the debacle around BC Agriculture Minister Pat Pimm intervening on an ALR (Ag Land Reserve) application for a rodeo site in Fort St John, within Minister Pimm's riding of Peace River North

Something that Mr. de Feo discussed and I agree with him only is a policy for interaction between the provincial Land Commission and elected officials so there are clear boundaries for both sides
