As a result of the Don DeGagne trial being postponed until the New Year -- the previously cancelled Committee of the Whole (WL Council) meeting has now been scheduled for tomorrow (Tuesday) at 6pm

To think that all this secrecy, excessive legal costs, employee terminations, and mistrust all began with Council's determination to cover up the cost overruns on the new fire hall! Look where Mayor Cook's "open and transparent" policies have taken us.
We citizens are paying for Council's attempts to preserve their collective political asses.
Re- firehall overrun! Somebody was not listening or viewing the many many discussions on this overrun! It certainly was not a secret to those who were interested in listening to the NUMEROUS times the explanations were provided. That was almost 3 years ago. In any event, the new and modern firehall was, much needed and is areal asset to the city!!!
