Joint sealing of the asphalt will take place on Saturday, October 12th, and line painting is scheduled for the week of Monday, October 14th.
Miscellaneous completion works, such as clean-up and sign installation, are still underway.
The project, which began in July, required a number of tasks to be completed, including removing and replacing the material under the road surface, construction of retaining walls, and installation of concrete islands and electrical infrastructure. When the project is complete, there will be two eastbound lanes from Hodgson Road to Pioneer Drive, as well as a pedestrian/bike lane extending to the Cariboo Adventist Academy.
