Today is the deadline for everyone to pay up their property taxes for the 2013 year
For those in muncipalities - Wells, Quesnel, Williams Lake and 100 Mile -- You have until 4:30pm today or a standard 10% penalty applies. I know of no case where a resident(s) has successful gotten this fee waived
Meanwhile - if you reside in the Cariboo Regional District (Rural Areas) - you must see the local Government Agent in either 100 Mile House, Williams Lake or Quesnel to pay up your property taxes. If you don't, a 5% penalty applies. You can get more information here
