Local governments in the Cariboo-Chilcotin are meeting this upcoming week as follows:

Wells - No meeting until May 21st

Quesnel - Delegation/COW Meeting on Monday, May 13th at 7:00pm in Quesnel Council Chambers (2nd Floor - 410 Kinchant St).  View the Agenda here

Items on the COW Agenda include 3 presentations and 2 reports from Quesnel Staff concerning the Quesnel Fringe OCP and Secondary Suites Public Consultation Process

The item around Secondary Suites is timely, given the recent protest by certain Quesnel residents' at the recently-held NCLGA Conference over approved Secondary Suites against the protest of local neighbours where the secondary suites were approved.  It'll be interesting to see their response to whatever Quesnel Council approves

Williams Lake - Council first has a Special Meeting to adopt Bylaw #2178 (2013 Tax Rates Bylaw) at 5:45pm on Tuesday, May 14th in WL Council Chambers and then a 6:00pm COW Meeting in the Rick Hansen Boardroom.  View that Agenda here
