Last night, from 6-7:30pm, officials from the Interior Health Authority (IHA) gave a public update on its' activities/services which including a Powerpoint presentation and a public question/answer period. There were 15 members of the public in attendance
During the public question/answer period - questions were asked like:
a) New Aboriginal Health Authority - who can access, what health services, etc
b) Seniors' Care - Private in WL, why not public?
c) Bus Transportation for medical appointments outside of WL region
d) Recruitment of medical professionals
It was a good briefing from IHA officials.
