Local Gov't Mtgs - Wk of Mar 4-8

Upcoming Local Gov't meetings as follows:

Monday - City of Quesnel (COW Session) - 7pm in Quesnel Council Chambers (2nd Flr - 410 Kinchant St).  View the Agenda here.  Quesnel Council will be reviewing its' Capital Budget voting along with review of local BIA budgets, SkyFest budget, and Legislative/Community Support Budgets

Tuesday - Wells Council will meet at 7pm  in Wells Council Chambers (4243 Sanders Avenue).  As well, Williams Lake City Council will meet at 6pm in WL Council Chambers (450 Mart St). Items of note at WL Council include submission of 2013 NCLGA Resolutions, endorsing a 'Letter of Support' to Taseko Mines for their bid for a Mining/Sustainability Award (I can imagine that this act will be very disappointing to TNG) and receipt of In-Camera reports including increase to per diem travel rates to $80 per day (note - report was written on Feb 19th while the City was still negotiating with IUOE) and cancelling of annual assistance to the WL Indoor Rodeo for dirt.  View the Agenda here

Thursday - Public Meeting at Lac La Hache in regards to the pilot project at their local Transfer Station.  Meeting starts at 7pm - Lac La Hache Community Hall

C'mon Steve,
Just because you live in Williams Lake, doesn't mean you should leave the other communities out of your mayor poll. It would be real interesting to see how the current incumbents, mayors and CRD chair, would look in such a poll.
