In a report from Jeff Bernardy, the City of Williams Lake's Engineering Technologist going to a Special Meeting of Council tomorrow - he will inform WL City Council that the City's portion to pave Fox Mountain Rd (as part of Fox Mountain Rd is within City boundaries) is going up to $194,391.22 to pave 1.1 kms of road, up from $150,000 as an initial estimate
Mr. Bernardy will also tell Council:
The Ministry of Transportation has advised that a 5% increase over the tendered price may be necessary depending on the field conditions encountered
The Staff Recommendation going to Council is:
That Council approve the adjusted paving costs and proceed with entering into an agreement with the Ministry of Transportation.
