YOUR RECREATION COMMISSIONS NEED YOU!
There are 2 Recreation Commissions within Area B & 1 in Area C—they oversee the management of Bouchie Lake Hall & Recreation Grounds, Parkland Community Hall & Kostas Cove, and Barlow Creek Hall & Ranger Ball Park respectively.
All Recreation Commissions are governed by a CRD Bylaw and work closely with the community they represent. For information on becoming a Commissioner, please contact me at hdixon-warren@cariboord.bc.ca or Director Massier (Area C) at jmassier@cariboord.bc.ca
Finally - there are 2 Open Houses coming up in Area 'B' in October as follows:
PARKLAND COMMUNITY CENTRE: Sunday, October 14th, 1-5 pm
BOUCHIE LAKE HALL: Saturday. October 20th, 1-5 pm

Potential Topics: Rural Recreation, Taxation Overview, Quesnel Community Foundation, Grants for Assistance, Online Presence, Invasive Plants, CRD Programs, Zoning / Bylaw Overview, etc.
