100 Mile Library hosts musicians

Courtesy of the Cariboo Regional District:

The Cariboo Regional District’s 100 Mile House Library is hosting two musical events in the month of August. Local musicians will play musical instruments for CRD library patrons over the lunch hour.

The first event will take place on August 15 at 12 p.m., when Mr. Alex Zamoraro will play the classical guitar in the Bossa Nova music style. Bossa Nova is a well-known Brazilian style of music which developed during the 1950s, with its origins coming from samba and jazz.

On August 22, join Curtis Wolfe when he will play music on both the violin and the viola. His repertoire of genres includes classical, Spanish, fiddle music, blue grass and western. Performance time is 12 p.m.

For further information about this CRD Library event is available by stopping by the 100 Mile House Library, or by calling the branch at 250-395-2332. More information is also available online at cln.bc.ca
