Campaign Expenses released for 2011 Quesnel civic election

With the deadline for candidates who ran in local elections (whether they got elected or not) coming up on Monday, March 19th at 4:30pm to file the necessary campaign financial disclosure form - The City of Quesnel has released the full list of candidates' campaign finance disclosure forms.  See the full list here

For the Office of Mayor - Ron Craigmyle spent the least at $1,035.38 or $1.25 per vote and current Quesnel Mayor Mary Sjostrom spent the most at $17,303.82 or $16.37 per vote

For the Office of Councillor - Paul Kainth spent the least at $233.04 or $0.21 per vote with Ed Coleman spending the most at $2,997.31 or $1.73 per vote

After Monday - filing your campaign finance form with the local Chief Election Officer will cost you a $500 late filing fee until Thursday, April 19th. After April 19th - you can not file your campaign finance form and you will be prohibited from running in the 2014 Civic Election
