Dumpster Fire at WL Secondary

From Welcome to Williams Lake:

Shortly after 9:30pm this evening, the Williams Lake Fire Department was called to extinguish a fire in a dumpster on the corner of 6th Avenue and Comer Street.

Witnesses heard a small audible explosion within the dumpster during the fire. Two fire fighters extinguished the fire within a minute or two of arriving at the scene.

The cause of the fire is not known at this time.
