WL RCMP Staff-Sgt Warren Brown addresses residents at CRD Area 'F' Town Hall Meeting

THERE WAS A SPECIAL GUEST AT THIS WEEKS AREA F CRD TOWN HALL MEETING.



WILLIAMS LAKE RCMP DETACHMENT COMMANDER & AREA F RESIDENT, WARREN BROWN SHOWED UP TO DISCUSS THE ISSUE OF MARIJUANA GROW OPS.


CRD AREA 'F' DIRECTOR JOAN SORLEY SAYS BROWN SPOKE OF THE EMERGING ISSUE OF GROW OPS IN THE AREA, INCLUDING ONE RECENT BUST WHICH FOUND 8,600 MARIJUANA PLANTS.


SORLEY SAYS BROWNS MESSAGE WAS FOR COMMUNITY MEMBERS TO GET INVOLVED AND TO NOT FEAR RETALIATION SHOULD THEY WISH TO REPORT CRIMINAL ACTIVITY IN THE AREA

perhaps mister warren brown should have addressed the publics utter lack of confidence in the rcmp in carrying out thier duty to provide proper impartial investigations,proper policing,and not infringe on peoples charter rights.Respect and cooperation with law enforcement is something you earn,not demand.It is time for rcmp to be accountable,a humbling experience given thier present attitude which is cavalier to say the least,maybe even arrogant if u ask me.Public confidence is the greatest weapon in the police arsenal,unfortunately the have left themselves unarmed in this respect,and it is a shame to them.
