At last night's Committee of the Whole meeting - Williams Lake Council received a first look at the new Financial Data Transparency Portal that the City is launching.
Run by "OpenGov.com" -- it allows anyone to look at the City's financial data and pull what charts/info they wish. The information is updated on a monthly basis
The City of Williams Lake is the first local government in the Interior region, that I'm aware of, to launch this type of technology and I personally applaud the City for this new type of technology for its' local residents'
