100 Mile Council Race firms up

In today's 100 Mile Free Press - all of the 100 Mile Council incumbents (Mayor Campsall and Councillors Mingo, Hadden, Henderson and Fossum) confirmed that they will indeed seek re-election.

In addition, John McCarvill has now declared his intention to run for one of the 4 100 Mile Councillors seats. Maureen Pinkney has previously declared her intention again to seek the Office of Mayor - District of 100 Mile House.  Plus Len Doucette has also agreed previously to seek a 100 Mile Councillor's seat

The election races, as of this writing, look like this:

Mayor - Mitch Campsall (incumbent) vs Maureen Pinkney (challenger)

Councillors:

1) Ralph Fossum (incumbent)
2) Bill Hadden (incumbent)
3) Spence Henderson (incumbent)
4) Dave Mingo (incumbent)
5) Len Doucette (challenger)
6) John McCarvill (challenger)

The formal nomination process has commenced (started this past Tuesday) and terminates on Friday, Oct 10th at 4pm.  The election process for the District of 100 Mile House can be viewed here
